The Supreme Court will review a lower court’s ruling against a 1994 law which cut federal funding to schools that barred recruiters. A group of law schools claimed the law violated their free speech rights by requiring them to spread the military’s anti-gay message. The government argued that their efforts at recruitment would be "seriously undermined" if the schools could bar military recruiters. The case will be argued before the Supreme Court in October.
