Pentagon Delays Releasing Recruiting Numbers From May

by

Was May the fifth month in a row that the Army missed its monthly recruiting goals?

We don’t know.

The Defense Department announced Wednesday that it is altering how the monthly recruiting numbers are released. Until now, each service – the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force – released separate reports on recruiting goals. Now the Pentagon, according to the Navy Times, plans to release one “consolidated monthly release.” The change will allow the Pentagon to “review” the data before it is released.

Asked whether the move would simply delay the release of bad news, Pentagon spokeswoman Ellen Krenke, said, “That’s not necessarily true.”

I thought that you would be interested in a soldier’s perspective on what you are trying to do with this site. The latest entry in my online journal may be on interest to you. You can read it at:

Better odd in Vegas that brining ones life back to even play. The odd are statistically significant that death may occur if one is in the armed forces. We should stop sending troops, bring them home, reward them with a boring job watching our borders, give them great VA benefits and have a parade once a year. No more kids in Iraq.

PEOPLE ARE FINDLY WAKING UP TO THE GOVERNMENTS LIES AND DECEPTIONS ON THE PART OF THE MILITARY AND OUR SENATORS AND REPRESENTATIVES. THEY PROMISE A LOT OF STUFF BUT DELIVER NOTHING AT ALL. RETIRE AFTER 20 YEARS WITH FULL MEDICAL COVERAGE IS A JOKE. WHEN YOU RETIRE AND BECOME 65 THEN YOU CAN HAVE MEDICARE IF IT’S STILL AROUND. THE VA MEDICAL CARE IS A JOKE ALSO.
THE VA HAS THE POOREST MEDICAL CARE THERE IS GOING. I KNOW BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN USING IT IF I DIDN’T HAVE MEDICARE PART A AND B
WHICH I HAVE TO PAY FOR MY WIFE AND I WOULD HAVE NOTHING. AFTER YOU GIVE THEM 20 YEARS BUDDY THATS IT

Any of you who call yourselves “American” but refuse to support your own country or volunteer to serve in her military deserve to live somewhere else. You are a disgrace. If you insist on buying into the “hate America” movement, you belong in a country where you don’t enjoy the freedoms purchased with the blood of American military men and women. You are not worthy to call yourself citizens of this great country. After 26 years of serving in America’s military, I am more proud to be an American than ever, certainly more than I would be if I never wore the uniform. Along with most Americans, I’m so sick of the whiners like the people who created this site, who demonstrate such complete ignorance of what our country and our military stand for, and have always stood for: Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Don’t you dullards recognize how many people all over the world would give their right arm to have what you so readily dishonor? You are a mockery to the many thousands of patriots who paid for what you have with their lives. Get a life yourself.

Hey Marty..News for you bud..the only arms, or legs or lives being lost are from the USA. Soldiers from USA are being killed in IRAQ for nothing. There is NO benefit to the USA for the “war” in Iraq. Other than making the Bush family money. Iraq never was or is a threat to USA..NEVER was and NEVER will be a threat. The only people that want to “get into” USA are from 3rd world countries. There is no rush from mainstream Europe. Why would anyone from Europe want to come here? They would, for example , have to give up the best medical care in the world. The USA is no prize to the rest of the 1st world countries. I will be leaving in the next year for Normandy. I cannot wait to be free.

    Simple solution.

No military recruiters, no federal funds for the school district in question.

Why should the tax dollars of hard-working, patriotic Americans subsidize education for the children of aging, hippie, counter-cultural terrorists intent on reliving their disruptive glory days during the 1960s?

Let them fund their own schools.
